Meron Tessema

Meron Tessema is a seasoned Public Health professional with more than 16 years of proven experience in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH) project management and Midwifery care. She holds a Master of Public Health Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery. Meron is the Vice President of the Ethiopian Midwives Association. She is a strategic advisor and an expert in grant proposal writing, grant management, monitoring, and knowledge/lessons dissemination resulting in securing grants and achieving successful, and scaleable outcomes. She is skilled in project coordination, stakeholder analysis and building partnerships to implement impactful and innovative initiatives. She has experience of representing organizations internationally and nationally and contributed in the development of guidelines, protocols and course contents. Her expertise extends to her role as a team player and mentor, effective communicator, adaptability, and effective facilitation skill.
