EMwA is a certified CPD provider having fulfilled national standards. We provide a learning opportunities to midwives and other health professionals.
Health professionals learning is regulated through linking with license renewal. A certain continuing education unit (CEU) is expected from midwives to continue practicing their profession. The aim is to protect the public from harm (non-maleficence).

Definitions
- Accreditation: type of QA process under which potential CPD Providers & CPD courses are evaluated by an Accreditor
- Continuing education unit (CEU): mean the value attached to a learning activity for CPD
- Accreditor: refer to gov’t universities and health PAs that shall be accredited by the Ministry;
- CPD Providers: public /private institutions (Univ. Nursing Schools, PAs, hospitals & other consultancy) firms which meet the specified criteria &have been accredited by accreditor to present learning activities for CPD.
