Tailor Made Training plus (TMT+) Project Kick-off workshop Report

Ethiopian Midwives Association (EMwA) strives for the autonomy and excellence of midwifery care practice to provide quality care for women, newborns, children, adolescents and youth through strengthening self-reliance and influencing for change.

The association has been implementing partnership with the Dutch organization Nuffic through Health [e] Foundation, since 2015 in different aspects of health issues of the country. Our partnership with HeF brought numerous changes in maternal and reproductive health in the country.

The path way of the collaboration and partnership between EMwA and HeF looks like as follow

·         2015–2019, Health[e]Families: Blended learning to educate midwives and community members about SRHR, maternal and newborn health.

·         2020–2022, OKP Nuffic TMT+ Nuffic:  Empowering female midwives to improve SRHR

·         2022, TMT+ TENA mobile services: Information on topics related to the COVID-19 pandemic

·         2022, TMT+ TENA mobile services: Information on topics related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
